About Ace Racing

. Ace Racing ist ein unabhängiges Rennteam, welches vor allem - aber nicht ausschließlich - bei Langstreckenevents teilnimmt. Teamgeist und Fahrspaß stehen bei Ace Racing im Vordergrund, unsere Fahrer entscheiden gemeinsam, an wie vielen und an welchen Events teilgenommen wird. Manche unserer Fahrer sind in zwei oder drei Events oder Renn- serien aktiv, andere in nur einer - je nachdem, wie viel Zeit der einzelne investieren kann oder will. Selbstverständlich wollen wir in jedem Rennen, an dem wir teilnehmen, das Bestmögliche erreichen, trotzdem ist es uns immer wichtig, daß sich die Fahrer untereinander gut verstehen und am Rennen fahren Spaß haben. Gelegentlich organisieren wir auch Events oder Rennserien, die allen Simracern offenstehen.
Die Teamgründung erfolgte im Rahmen einer Liga, nach zwei Rennsaisonen fiel jedoch die Entscheidung, als unab- hängiges Team weiterzumachen. Erste Ansätze gab es bereits beim ersten 24 Stunden Rennen von Sim-Racing.de im Jahr 2007, ein erster Start fand 2008 beim 12 Stunden Event in Sebring statt (damals noch als Liga Team). Es folgten Teilnahmen an mehreren Rennen und Events als Liga Team bis 2010 die endgültige Umbenennung in Ace Racing statt- fand. Seither war das Team bei vielen Events am Start, zu den größten Erfolgen zählen der 2. Platz in der LMP Klasse bei den 24H Le Mans und den 1000km Nürburgring sowie der Titelgewinn in der LMP-Klasse der Multi-League 2011 inklusive Titelverteidigung im folgenden Jahr. 2012 konnte mit dem Sieg in der LMP1 Klasse bei den 24H Le Mans ein weiterer besonderer Titelgewinn gefeiert werden.


. Ace Racing is an independent race team which participates primarily, but not exclusively, in endurance events. A good team spirit and enjoying the races is ou rmain goal at Ace Racing and our drivers decide together in how many events and in ehich events the team will participate. Some of our drivers are active in up to three events or racing series, others in just one - depending on how much time each one can and wants to invest. Needles to say, we always aim to achieve the best possible result in every race but at the same time it is very important to us that the drivers get along well with each other and have fun racing. Occasionally, we organize an event or a racing series which is open to all Simracers.
The team was initially founded as part of a racing league but after two seasons the decision was made to become an independent team. A first attempt of the team took place at the very first 24-hour race organised by Sim-Racing.de
in 2007, the first actual participation was in 2008 at the 12 hour event in Sebring (still listed as a league team back then). Several races and events followed until the final move to rename the team into Ace Racing took place in 2010. Since then, the team has taken part in wide range of events with notable success. In 2011, Ace Racing was runner-up in the LMP class at the 24H Le Mans and the 1000km Nürburgring event and won the title in the LMP class of the Multi-League Championship. The following year, our team successfully defended the title in the Multileague Championship and managed another special victory by winning the 2012 24H Le Mans in the LMP1 class.
